OUR PASTOR

Pastor Paul and his wife, Naomi, have been at Living Waters Baptist Church since 2015. First as assistant pastor, and then as senior pastor beginning in 2023, Paul serves with the desire for people to know God personally. Living Waters began years ago through the heart burden of Pastor Gary and Beverly Messick. Paul and Naomi still count Gary and Bev as dear friends and are thankful for the years of serving the Lord together.

Our goal for every service is that every person might encounter the Living God. Our God is real, and we can know Him through the blood of His Son and the power of His Spirit. We believe the Bible reveals God to us as the Omnipotent God who changes lives.

Our goal for everything we do as a church is to magnify the greatness of our God. He alone is worthy of recognition, honor, and praise. When we gather together, He is who we worship, He is our focus, He is the reason we exist.

Please join us this Sunday as we encounter God together. If we can help you know God in a real and life-changing way, please let us know.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

The Bible is the unchanging and life-changing Word of God.

“For ever, O Lord, Thy Word is settled in heaven.” Psalm 119:89

“Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.” Psalm 119:9

Everyone has sinned.

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23

Sin means death.

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23

Jesus is our only Hope.

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6

All who believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ can receive forgiveness of sin and eternal life.

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?

The most important thing for you to know is where you will spend eternity. 10 out of 10 people die; yet, very few take the time or thought to prepare for death. This life is but a vapor in light of all of eternity. If you would like to know more, visit the website link below.
